"We loved our stay. We saw countless turtles and were able to snorkel next to them just off the steps located by our balcony. We had an issue with the dryer but it was addressed quickly and fixed the same day. The view was gorgeous, beach was 5mins away, and we could easily walk to the aquarium and local restaurants. This was a lovely and welcomed break from the resort life. I highly recommend this home for your next stay!

"This place felt right at home ! Everything matched the description. In fact picture doesn’t do the justice of how lovely the view from balcony is ! It’s right in front of ocean ! The location is nice too where you are right in center of all attraction without having to travel to 3 hrs to reach a place as well as its proximity to market.

"Stunning Beachfront Paradise – A True Gem in Maui. Our stay at this incredible Airbnb exceeded all expectations. Nestled right on the beach, the property offers breathtaking ocean views from sunrise to sunset. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to panoramic coastal scenery was an unforgettable experience. The place itself was immaculate—beautifully decorated with thoughtful Hawaiian touches and equipped with every modern amenity you could ask for, including a fully stocked kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and luxurious linens. The outdoor balcony was our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails, perfectly positioned to watch sea turtles and even a few whales in the distance. Our host was exceptional—responsive, friendly, and full of great local recommendations. The check-in process was seamless, and every detail was clearly communicated. This place is perfect for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and experience the magic of Maui right from their doorstep.

"My wife and I took my parents to Maui and 209 Lauloa was perfect for our needs. We had never been to Maui before and the location is great as you’re centrally located between West and South Maui. Quick easy access to Kapalua, Ka’anapali, Lahaina, Kihei, Wailea, and others. The patio view is spectacular. The area is pretty windy due to being in a valley, but the property completely blocks the wind while on the patio. Open the windows for a beautiful ocean breeze. Close to the marina for any snorkel or whale watching trips and the decor is very welcoming and peaceful. The property has all the kitchen items needed for days when we wanted to stay in. We highly recommend taking the beach chairs to the grass lawn down below in the mornings to watch the sun rise and the ocean come to life.

"Great vacation spot: Perfect unit for 2 couples. The kitchen was well stocked. The ocean view was beautiful and relaxing. Enjoyed seeing the turtles just off the lawn and the short walk to the beach. The location is convenient to Maalaea Harbor for excursions and Maui Harbor Shops for shopping and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this unit.

"What a special location!! It was very peaceful, quiet and insanely beautiful. If you’re staying December - February don’t forget your binoculars because whales breach right in the bay!! The view from the balcony is even more breathtaking than the pictures, condo is clean and well renovated. There is a walkable beach, coffee shop, aquarium and whale watching tours but you’re also centrally located, making it easy to drive anywhere - especially all of those gorgeous west coast beaches. We love to cook when we stay somewhere and were so impressed by the fully stocked kitchen which had really well cared for pots and pans, utensils, etc. (not always the case in a rental)! Host was very responsive and it was so great having beach chairs, coolers, umbrella (well loved but useable) and boogie board available! Looking forward to staying again!!

"Perfect for our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids); comfortable sleeping situation. The sounds of the ocean from the balcony were very soothing. 8 min walk to local public beach. "Love the scenic view outside the property, I was lucky enough to see sea turtles right on the edge of the water during their meal time. Kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. Each room had AC which was nice. Host provided clear instructions for parking and getting onto the property.

"This place was great. The place was spacious, full size kitchen, and of course the view. Everything was clean and organized and it was nice that they provided beach gear such as chairs, coolers, and towels. Parking was easy and accessible. Lastly and surprisingly, pull out bed couch was comfortable. Will definitely consider staying here again if I ever visit Maui. Highly recommend!

"We echo the enthusiasm of previous reviews. This condo is exceptional from the abundantly furnished kitchen to the splendid views from the spacious lanai. We viewed turtles, a monk seal, fishermen bringing in octopi, nocturnal snorklers with underwater lamps and impressive surfers. The night lights of Kihei and Wilea across the water were a bonus. Clean, comfortable and conveniently located minutes from the airport, beaches and shopping. Parking here is ample and easy.

"This condo looks just like the pictures. It was beautifully updated and very clean. The morning and nighttime views from the lanai off of the living room and the bedroom were absolutely amazing. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms and it came with a number of beach chairs, toys and boogie boards. You can really tell the owners put a lot of time and energy into making this condo feel very warm and accommodating for their renters. The location of Maalaea Bay is a quiet and serene location away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist towns, but we had an amazing week exploring all of Maui. Thank you for your hospitality.

"Loved our stay! It was perfect for our family of five. The home was very clean & well stocked. Instructions were super easy & parking was great. The best part was the view! It was so amazing to wake up to the beautiful ocean & gorgeous scenery. We even saw a bunch of turtles close to the shore! They were so close we could touch them but of course didn’t out of respect for the animals. We loved our stay here & would definitely recommend!

"It’s a very nice property, oceanfront, a few minutes from the beach. A fully stocked kitchen, good modular AC in all rooms. Complete with beach chairs and umbrella. The view was great though the lack of sand gives a darker appearance to the water from the lanai. Also one bedroom has a sliding door next to the living room tv so it’s not exactly very private in that bdrm. Other than that it was a very good stay. The beach starts about 5-10 min walk away which allows for a long walk with a lot of sand. “Big Beach” is about 30 min drive to the south.

"If you've found this property, stop here and book immediately. My wife and I were blown away by the quality of this Air B&B apartment. It was extremely clean, had stunning views, a beautiful kitchen with any appliance you can imagine, a clean washer/dryer, and comfortable beds. There were plenty of towels, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, beach chairs, pool noodles, and more. We had an incredible experience here and highly highly recommend it. The next time we are in Maui, we will be sure to come back here. The location is also excellent for many of the activities on the Island.

"I love the property. Couldn’t figure out the dishwasher or coffee pot. So called the number for help with questions and he came right away and checked it out and educated us on how to use. We had everything we needed for our stay over thanksgiving provided. We cooked our thanksgiving meal there and celebrated my moms 85 birthday. 4adults and 2 teens stayed here very comfortably. We used the games provided and had a wonderful vacation.

"This is a great place for a family of 5. Fit all of us comfortably. It’s clean, has all the amenities needed, and has beach gears which was a huge plus for the kids. Beautiful views from the balcony. Saw sea turtles and a bunch of divers off the shore. One of the divers showed us the octopus and fishes he caught while snorkeling. Amazing experience. We also did the boat tour with snorkeling off the harbor which was in walking distance so we got to save on parking. The local home good stores is right around the corner and have great food options. Host was very responsive and helped us through the trip. Overall we will definitely be back!

"We were supposed to get there 8/9. The day the fires were raging in Lahaina. The owner was extremely responsive and considerate. We were able to get a full refund immediately and without any trouble. I know some people were having issues with getting refunds, but not this property. They are a respectful property company, and we definitely will be using them when we come to Maui in the future. Mahalo

"Don’t hesitate to book. Property is exactly as listed with responsive and helpful host. Our family of 5 had an a amazing time exploring Maui staying at this well equipped, comfortable and safe apartment. The view from the balcony and bedroom is breathtaking. It’s a slice of heaven to be able to wake up the beautiful view for the 5 nights that we stayed. Not much around within walking distance. Although the beach beneath the balcony is not sandy, we really enjoyed the location. It’s a peaceful part of town and easily accessible to most points of interests around Maui (Kam beaches/Kihei, Lahaina, Paia, Baldwin beach, airport, Costco, target, etc..). The house is well stocked with coffee grinder, coffee maker, toaster, laundry detergent, toiletries, etc.. for those travelling with kids remember to message host in advance for high chair etc.. We didn’t message in advance, but host quickly brought in a high chair for us. Highly recommend!

"This AirBnB fulfilled all of our expectations and then some! The owners thought of EVERYTHING! It was so well stocked which you don't always find when you rent a unit. The beds were super comfortable, the showers were great, and we were 100% satisfied with the furnishings. They provided everything you would need for a day of adventure from snorkel equipment to beach towels, lawn chairs and an ice chest. And not to mention the perfect VIEW! We ate our meals on our deck overlooking the ocean and had no reason to ever eat in a restaurant when paradise was right in front of us. It was super convenient to have a washer/dryer and a dishwasher if you need to use them. We can't say enough good things about this beautiful remodeled unit. Kudos to the owner for thinking of everything vacationers might need!

"Condo worked out well for exploring the island. It was clean, quiet, and had good parking. "We had a blast on our Maui vacation. This condo was in the perfect location, between lahaina, kehei and Kahului. We were able to take quick trips to other parts of the island then return to our beautiful, quiet and peaceful condo. The Lanai was a special place as most mornings we could see the whales and turtles in the bay. We had a total of six guests and everyone had a super comfortable place to sleep and the size of the condo was perfect. I can't say enough about the amenities and care and condition of the condo. I will most certainly book a return visit.

"Josh was a very responsive host. We were very pleased with the condo and its location. We were able to see turtles swimming by the sea wall and watch whales from the balcony. The location was ideal for us. It felt centrally located so we didn’t need to drive more than 30 minutes to get where we planned to visit most days. "This condo was exactly what we were looking for. Centrally located in Maalaea, it was super easy to get to from the airport, and trips to Kihei and Lahaina and beyond were a breeze. Plus, our whale watching and sunset cruises departed from the harbor, which was a short walk from the condo. Now, onto the condo itself. First, the views from the second floor lanai are beautiful, peaceful and exhilarating at the same time. Morning coffee watching the sun rise over Haleakala brought serenity every morning. Then, as the sun rose, the view of the bay afforded multiple whale sightings every day. The condo itself was very nicely decorated, and the bathrooms and kitchen were recently updated. We were a group of five adults and the beds were super comfortable, including the credenza murphy bed. As a big man, I can tell you I slept like a baby on that thing! FYI there is a sleeper sofa too, so 6 adults could easily be accommodated. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Josh, our agent, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and informative. I cannot recommend this condo highly enough! Stay here and you won't be sorry!

"Aloha ~ We loved our stay here. The location was perfect for our adult family of five. Close (walkable) to beaches, local coffee shop and just a short drive to beautiful Maui beaches, Lahaina and Kaanapali. "This place was perfect! In a great central location that makes it easy to get to any part of the island. It’s very quiet here, not so touristy! There is the Maui Aquarium and some restaurants and shoppes within walking distance as well. The property itself is beautiful and maintained very well and there is always some wildlife to be seen whether it’s whales in the harbor or sea turtles right up at the property. The unit is beautifully decorated and the view from the unit is incredible. Josh stocked the unit with lots of basics that were a huge help and he was always quick to respond to any messages I sent. This is definitely a great place to stay and if we ever come back to Maui I would choose to stay here again.

"This unit was very good! Enough space for five people and very clean. Josh, the host, was great in communicating with us. We were able to see turtles swimming in the water from our balcony, watch the sunrise and just listen to the waves. You can walk along the water and when the sun goes down the complex next to this one lights Tiki torches along a walking path. Very cool. The only drawback is you have to drive to a real village or city because there's not much around the area, besides the harbor and a couple of restaurants. For activities like boogie boarding or snorkeling you're better off heading north towards Lahaina or south towards Kihei. Otherwise, great unit!

"Josh’s AirBnB was hands down the best place we stayed at during our trip to Hawaii. The unit itself was very aesthetic, each room had their own AC & Josh has included thoughtful details apart from the usual beach chairs such as tripod stands and a cooler bag we used for a day trip. It is also a great WFH spot with strong WiFi connection. "Waterfront view in a quiet, family-friendly complex. Josh and Rebecca's place has a wonderful view of the water and the second-floor location allows for turtle viewing from the balcony. My friend and I stayed for two nights in order to have easy access to the Haleakala Crater, and we enjoyed being able to get ready for outdoor adventure in a relaxing environment. Shared hint: use the grocery carts in the stairwell for easy transport of belongings up to the second floor.

"We had my family of 7 individuals and the place worked perfectly even though we were on the larger side of capacity. The pull out beds in the main room were extremely comfortable and the set up worked perfect for my family. Thank you Josh and Rebecca for the beach chairs and Boogie Boards left for use. It made our stay very memorable for my 5 kids… The home is in a perfect location to explore the entire Island as well as quick access to Costco and Wal-Mart for necessary goods. The place was very nice and clean, the AC units worked fantastic and the washer and dryer were a big help during our stay. One thing that I noticed that I didn’t pick up on when I was doing my research was that there were a lot people out surfing right off the back of the property with the access point of the back deck. Josh and Rebecca were very attentive and responsive to questions and you could tell they wanted to make sure you were taken care of. Great place and would definitely stay here again.

"A great place to stay close to Kihei and Lahaina—easy access to anywhere along this coast (and not far from the airport). The condo was clean and just right for six people. The kitchen is well stocked to cook everything you need, and the beds are comfortable. Super clean condo with beautiful views of the ocean. You can see whales right from the ocean (if they’re in season) and turtles all along the ocean wall. Keyless entry is convenient so you don’t have to keep track of keys. You can walk to the Ma’alea Harbor where there is a small beach and leave for whale watching tours, snorkel or dive tours, private fishing excursions, and more. Walk to the General Store for some tasty food or morning coffee. Take a dip in the pool while watching boats come in and out of the harbor. I highly recommend!

"The place is exactly same as the description, and the location is perfect, very easy to drive to most of the places in half an hour, no matter Lahaina, Kihei or the airport. Rebecca and Josh was also very helpful since the beginning, available at all times whenever we had any questions. Totally recommend it.

"Josh are Rebecca's place is definitely a gem! It is nice, clean, well-decorated, and have absotely everything you need for a cozy and comfortable Maui stay - abundant kitchen essentials, in-unit laundry, even the beach towels, chaires, umbrella and cooler are provided! It has an unbeatable view that is so close to the ocean, we really enjoyed chilling out at the patio and watch the sunset. The location is very suitable for people who are seeking a quite get-away from hustle. It is in the middle of two major towns - Lahania and Kihei, makes visiting (most importantly the restaurants) either of them very easy. Josh and Rebecca are also very easy to communicate and extremely responsive to any questions we have. Would definitely recommend the place!

"This place was great! My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and the place was perfect. More than enough room for just 2 ppl. Good location as it is central to everything in Maui. Place was very clean and they provided detailed instructions. They had everything and more such as plenty of towels, toiletries, iron and ironing board, etc. As well as everything you need for the beach. The view is from the balcony is beautiful. No complaints about this place. Highly recommend!

"THE VIEW IS UNREAL! You can see both the sunrise and set. We absolutely loved our stay at Joshua’s Airbnb. The layout is so open and inviting. So much natural light which I love. Cleanliness was A+ and I’m a stickler for that. We had all the amenities needed to make our stay very comfortable and convenient. The location was also a perfect middle spot for the places we like to go while visiting Maui. (Kihei, Road to Hana and Lahaina) Would absolutely stay here again on our next trip.
